Our Business Network represents a wide range of local independently-owned businesses: retail shops and arts groups, farms, cafes, restaurants and breweries, service professionals and trades people, and other entrepreneurs.
Independents do not enjoy the benefits of national branding and marketing, or training and support from headquarters, or established suppliers and collective purchasing. These are our neighbors doing business “to a different drum.” They add to the unique character of our town while building community, adding to economic vitality, and contributing to a healthier environment.
Our members work together to build more localized and sustainable connections among independent businesses and with loyal customers.
