Here’s our schedule for next few months:

8:00-8:45AM – Networking and “Walkabout”
Meet fellow members and visit four “task force stations” to write your ideas and concerns, and respond to those of others. This information will help LLE be more responsive to your needs and dreams.

8:45-10:00AM – Formal Meeting: Steering Committee & Task Forces (see list below)
We are in the formative stage of the Local Living Economy business network, and welcome the ideas and participation of all members as we design the structure and plan events.

Current Task Forces include:

1. Member Benefits
Create valuable benefits for LLE members

2. Events and Public Outreach
Offer events to educate and engage both LLE members and general public about best LLE practices and policies that support the well-being and germination of community-based businesses

3. Marketing and Communications
Create cooperative marketing campaigns to promote LLE members and the benefits of a living economy

4. Green Business Practices
Collaborate to make environmental practices more local, convenient and affordable
