Scott Hapner

I come to Be Local NC as a small business owner and passionate foodie with dedicated energy to connecting, supporting and enhancing the local business community.
I have been participated in the local food community in northern Colorado for over 10 years, most notably the last 6 years as an associate of the Northern Colorado Food Incubator (NCFI). Through the NCFI we have contributed to food business incubation and support for farms, restaurants, catering companies, and value-added food businesses. Successes are seen in the creation of many food business development programs, seminars, and events that provide food business start-ups and existing businesses an environment to grow, network, and expand their market.
Throughout my career I have developed a meaningful understanding of business needs and challenges and I have committed myself in all my endeavors to support the local business community and local food-based businesses of our area. From my involvement, I am fortunate to have a seasoned and deep network of businesses and associates at all levels.
Taking what I have learned from my peers, I am now proud (and excitedly exhausted) owner of Chef Happy’s Gourmet – Personal Chef Services and Local Food Consulting.
For BeLocalNC, I am very excited to be the Program Development Coordinator. My obligations is to expand the Business Network programs that help the members ~ grow their awareness, get networked and connected, and develop professionally ~ both individually and together as local, independents.
So… My everlasting question to all BeLocalNC Members is how can we help you? Please let me know. I will be getting to know folks in the coming months and I want to hear from you so we can respond to your needs.
